Yep, and George Reeves was Superman. Though Christopher Reeve was good in the role in the movies. He was very versatile. In between Superman 1 and Superman 2 he made "Somewhere in Time." I have the first season of the Adventures of Superman on DVD somewhere. It was on all the time when I was a young kid. Now days most of the good stuff is off the TV and (for the most part) only junk is left behind.
