Patience, Padawan. Regex is *always* like this to learn, and yes, I concur--RB and RM have VERY steep learning curves. The big problem, to my mind, is the layout.
It's confusing as hell. IIRC, I spent some time googling around, and I found a few other nerdy types, who had posted stuff, and that got me going in a forward direction.
Sorry if that doesn't help. Did you work through the examples? The browser demos, here:
https://www.regexmagic.com/demo.html ? They put the files in, in the Help file under RM Examples, Patterns, Integer?
Also: if you really CANNOT get it, they have a 90-day money back guarantee. I always keep the RB's that a given crew member doesn't install or use; there's always someone else coming down the pike. :-)
