@NiLuJe thanks so much. So... if I have this right, my PW2 is now properly jailbroken? (I did the one from pg 1 of the hotfix thread)

My (very limited lol) understanding was that the hotfix somehow prevented future updates from removing the jailbreak. Is that right?

Put another way: if my device is jailbroken as per those "full" instructions (i.e. it stated **** JAILBREAK ****) am I able to update to the Kindle's current firmware whilst retaining the jailbreak? I thought I had done that before and I ended up losing my jailbreak so I just want to make sure I'm not forgetting a step here...
