Get a free professionally-narrated copy of the Edwin A. Abbott classic Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions. This comes courtesy of University Press Audiobooks.

The narrator is Douglas R. Pratt. He "has narrated over twenty audiobook titles for a number of companies, including several for University Press Audiobooks: The War of 1812, Titan II, and U.S. Foreign Policy and Defense Strategy (forthcoming)." He's narrated a lot of audiobooks that are available at Audible. I scanned over his works and the ratings of the audiobooks which he narrates (which might give you an idea about the quality of his narrations) and they ranged from fair to excellent. Interestingly, there does not appear to be an audio narration of Flatland by him available at Audible.

Here's some more stuff that University Press Audiobooks says about the title:
Now available for free download, this new, unabridged edition of FLATLAND is faithful to Abbott's own second, revised edition. This narration provides a clear, intelligent rendition for the modern ear.

FLATLAND: A ROMANCE OF MANY DIMENSIONS was written by Abbott and first published in 1884 under the pseudonym, A. Square. It has gone on to become a perennial classic.

Here's where to go to get the freebie.
