What I "get" is an app I enjoy, even if I could have gotten a limited version for free. And by supporting continued development, I also "get" (hopefully) future updates with new & improved features and bug fixes.

That about sums it up for me, too. I have paid for many many ebook reader apps, but only four of those are still on my devices. And Hyphen leads the pack so far.
