I tried it with Notepad++ v6.5.2 and got almost the same results when I selected Edit > Paste Special > HTML Format.
(Apparently Notepad Plus doesn't remove the header information.)
BTW, when I looked at the clipboard content with the free Windows
CLCL clipboard manager I saw the same fragment tags when I selected HTML Format from format list.
I.e., the fragment tags are definitely generated by the app the text was copied from.
IMHO, this is a purely cosmetic issue since the fragment tags are valid comments. If the OP doesn't like them, he could create a search and replace clip to remove them.
