Oh, these are both great solutions! I only tried the first one (GrannyGrump's) and that was enough -- I'm sure yours works, too, jbacelar, but I think I'll go with the ol' Granny's instead, as that one I can use anywhere, any time, in any book, regardless of whether I have a header image or not, not to mention that it works without a header image at all, and I can also just make a quick'n'easy "clip" in Sigil that I can insert easily whenever I need it.

Oh, and I did a search & replace and changed all 200+ instances of page breaks in my books, and tested it out in ADE (on my PC) and in iBooks on my iPad, and it works perfectly in both!

Thanks to both of you for your efforts! This is REALLY great, to have this resolved! Yippee!!! Hopefully this thread will be helpful for others, too!
