Oh, these are both great solutions! I only tried the first one (GrannyGrump's) and that was enough -- I'm sure yours works, too, jbacelar, but I think I'll go with the ol' Granny's instead, as that one I can use anywhere, any time, in any book, regardless of whether I have a header image or not, not to mention that it works without a header image at all, and I can also just make a quick'n'easy "clip" in Sigil that I can insert easily whenever I need it.
Oh, and I did a search & replace and changed all 200+ instances of page breaks in my books, and tested it out in ADE (on my PC) and in iBooks on my iPad, and it works
perfectly in both!
