New Humble Bundle is up, and it's for:

Humble Comics Bundle Star Trek presented by IDW chock-full of exactly what you'd expect, containing both their newer stuff, and the old reprints from the DC Comics line, from the looks of it. I'm guessing this is a promo for the upcoming movie release, just as there was with the Ghostbusters comics bundle a few weeks ago.

Maybe it's just a webpage description glitch, but right now I'm not seeing adjustable average prices, just a straight $1 minimum, $8 middle tier (more books added next week), $15 top tier, $25 bonus tier with HB-exclusive paperback with a new story by John Byrne.

ISTR there was a previous Star Trek HB, and I've no idea what might or might not be duplicated in this one; perhaps another of our MR members who actually got it might be able to help out. But it seems like good value for money, as you get a lot of TPB collection volumes, and the blurb says they'd normally cost you $351 retail. Spinoff adaptation-wise I've never really been into the Star Trek comics vs. the novels, but I think I'm willing to give it a try, especially since ISTR that Diane Duane, who wrote some of my favourite tie-in novels, also did a few issues of the old DC series.

ETA: there's also some nifty-looking actual DC Comics crossovers in it (Legion of Super-Heroes!) and a graphic novel based on Harlan Ellison's original unaltered script for "The City on the Edge of Forever". And these blogposts seem to describe what was in the first bundle in the first week, which seems to be a fair amount of overlap, but from the looks of it, the suggested retail cost of the new stuff is high enough that it would cost you the top tier price for just a few of those titles anyway.
