If the first, it's really rather easy. Just don't step on the ginormous animal with the horns that is standing in front of you.
If the second, well, it's a matter of natural selection. Any bull that could not keep from stepping on his own weenie isn't going to produce that many offspring. It's called the "Theory of Traumatic Weenie Damage" .... one of Darwin's lesser known works.

And, it was really funny, when one of the cows was in heat, this one bull always managed to get out of the barbed wire enclosure where he was kept, and just go trompin' on down to the cows area, using the road. Someone would call the owner, and next thing you know you'd see him leading this not-so-happy bull back to his own place........
