Just be glad you don't have a house with stairs. I cannot even begin to count the times the cats have waited for me at the top of the stairs, and one good trip has sent me tumbling to the bottom.
They must have read my will. That's my best guess.
On the upside, I have become quite adept at talking falls. I've learned to relax and roll with the fall ... fighting it just makes things worse.
Still up to my armpits in housework at the moment. The cats really did a number on this place while I was gone. The night I came home, sick and really tired, I found they had peed on my pillow. It was soaked in urine. I probably would have discovered this a little earlier on, but my sinuses were so stuffed up that my sense of smell was non-existent.
As it was -- and thank heavens -- I had dry and clean guest bedding I could use.
