It seems rather unlikely that any manufacturer would claim that their devices would have a "perfect screen". That's a purely subjective description - who defines what "perfection" is when it comes to a screen? Some screens certainly have more colour and/or brightness variation than others, but whether that constitutes a problem is very much in the eye of the beholder. Eg, you stated that you were "very happy" with your Oasis, but some people have found the brightness variations to be troublesome. I'm equally happy with my Voyage, but some see colour variations in the screen that are imperceptible to me. What's fine for one person isn't for another. Everyone's perception differs.
