They did give you a choice. You would have been sent an email a while back, after the initial verdict on the case. You had the choice there to accept a credit or have them mail you a check. I know I received one from Amazon. Knowing that I spend money at Amazon, I went the lazy route and let them put the money on my Amazon account.
