Same here. The only front-lit eReader that I've been able to use successfully is my old Nook Simple Touch Glowlight. The Kobo Glo and the others I've tried seem to have "dull" fonts that are uncomfortable to read (it's difficult to describe). I find myself constantly adjusting the light on the Glo. I like my lighted cases for the Kindle Touch and Kindle Basic (black with buttons, 2013?) but not the built-in front light for the Glo and the others I've tried (the others for short periods of time, so they haven't necessarily had fair tests).

(I'm selling the Glo, also. I guess I just like "old tech.")
