Well, for about three weeks there I had a current Kindle model. No more. (I'm selling the "almost-current" model on eBay anyhow, I like the original Touch better.) This newest one is about an ounce lighter and doesn't have that squared off "bulge" on the back. It's also got an OEM case with a magnet latch -- I noticed a lot of folks complained about the OEM cover the for the now "one-version-back" "New Touch" because it wouldn't stay shut on its own. I like the fact there is a white and black model available -- although I would probably just buy the black one anyhow.

So, what's this one going to be called? The New Touch 2?
