M3 and SxS are totally identical, except that M3 is paid via an in-app purchase and SxS is paid up front. Basically, you are able to run two Marvins on the same device, hence the ability to keep separate libraries, and open them side-by-side on devices that support iOS split view.
I'm working to have the M2 update ready by next week. I'm sorry I didn't catch the M2 4GB issue before M3's release.
