I thought a device ought to have replacement pieces until five years after it is made. I know it is out of warranty time, but it is not out of "repair time". Aside, the dealer could have responded or show "a proof of life"...
I amb considering to buy my next device to a well established company like Sony. May be its DPT-S1 has less features than Max, but its quality seems much better.
