I'm assuming you have done all the Elizabeth Lowell/Ann Maxwell books? Some of those are pretty good.
Those are just off the top of my head. Funny ones are hard to come by though. Mom enjoyed Janet Evanovich's Metro Girl/Motor Mouth books.
I have Hallmark Channel and there are a few move series on there based on books. I haven't read them yet, but the movies seem to be pretty funny. One is the Hanna Swenson series by Joanne Fluke. Another is the Aurora Teagarden series by Charlaine Harris. I would say these fall more under cozy than suspense, but maybe if you just want light and fluffy/silly.
Hope this helps, finding new authors/books is hard!

No I haven't read any Lowell books. I'm not sure if the graveyard series would interests me. I had to stop the Cat & Bones series because it got too dark. I have read the Motor Mouth series. It was okay not as good as Plum.

They don't need to be light or funny. I'm looking for action and adventure something that will keep me reading.

Right now I've added.

Cindy Gerard - BPL has the bodyguard series and I've requested omnibuses of her other series.
Lorie O'Claire Bodyguard series
Harper Sloan - Corp Security series.
Meliss Melton
Shannon McKenna
Maya Banks - KGI series
Tara Jansen - Street series
Roxanne St Claire - Bullet catchers
Suzanne Brockmann

I'm looking for more. I'm also looking for books full of crazy sauce like Tiffany Snow. Her books are not funny. She runs her heroines through the ringer before they get a HEA. I love that. Reminds me of the old historicals where at the end you wonder how the heroine is even alive still.

Thanks for the cozies recs I do read those on the side. I'm reading Shelly Fredman still on that genre. Almost done.
