Contemporary Romance unless it's a rock star series or MMA fighter. Not sure why I like these yet.
Historicals of any kind.
The Suspense kind I am looking for is a page turner with plenty of action and adventure or a very good mystery plot.
I'd love to find some books full of crazy sauce. Tiffany Snow is the only ones I know about though.
I started Axel by Harper Sloan so we will see if this series is for me or not.
While paranormal or sci-fi is not really wanted right now it's on a case by case basis. Modern world setting though.

Have you read the Amanda Stevens Graveyard Queen series? I'm not really into paranormal either, but I really have enjoyed them. I've only done the first three in the series so far though.
I'm assuming you have done all the Elizabeth Lowell/Ann Maxwell books? Some of those are pretty good.
Those are just off the top of my head. Funny ones are hard to come by though. Mom enjoyed Janet Evanovich's Metro Girl/Motor Mouth books.
I have Hallmark Channel and there are a few move series on there based on books. I haven't read them yet, but the movies seem to be pretty funny. One is the Hanna Swenson series by Joanne Fluke. Another is the Aurora Teagarden series by Charlaine Harris. I would say these fall more under cozy than suspense, but maybe if you just want light and fluffy/silly.
Hope this helps, finding new authors/books is hard!
