My guess is that they are not selling enough Kindles in that particular store to justify a more prominent display location. If sales are tanking, then they will likely get relegated to an obscure area of the store. I cannot imagine that Kindles sell well in any stores when compared to tablets. Kindles are a tired, aged technology and likely have a small market following these days. The glory days of eInk readers is long past.
