Not sure where they would put the dots in cover view. Since covers have dark areas in different places, the dots would be invisible on many covers. I guess they could slap them inside some white box? Would look a bit funky I think.
Since I use cover view, its moot anyway. The only dots I really want back are the dots that used to be the progress bar on the bottom. Don't think I'll ever get that one back.
