it's how it's suppose to work but never does. It cycles on to check the air at no interval sometimes 10 minutes other times it can go as far as 30 minutes to an hour. I'm having to fiddle with it to keep comfortable. On days it works right it's nice.
I had a wall unit in Raleigh that did the samething. If it's below 65 outside it won't cycle at all no matter how hot the room is.
Here's how it really works. 68 it won't cycle till 76 in the room and 67 it won't cycle till 74 in the room. The sensor is in a encasement. There is no way to clean anything. Bad install? Probably. Raleigh wall unit was like this too though only 68 cycle on at 74 and 70 at 78.
It's a bad designed feature. I miss the central air I had in Tennessee.
