Oh.
Sorry for not mentioning before, I left it on a wall charger. It charged until the led turned green - stayed for about 1 day.
I did try holding power button up to 1 minute. Device screen just flashes and then stucks on Kindle boot screen again.
The serial number is clearly visible on image attached - first six digits are
B024 16
My MacBook doesn't react on device being connected. But if the battery is completely drained the Parallels mounts kindle device on XP - it "finds" device drive but is unable to open it (corrupted?)
