Many of you know that I a big believer in The Great Course company's audio and video courses. They are of unbeatable quality, IMHO, and I've bought tons of them.
I got an email from them a little while ago today telling me about a new service that they have started. It is an
on-demand video streaming service.
They are offering two membership options. Both offer
unlimited streaming. Currently, the monthly plan is $19.99/month and the annual plan is $14.99/month. If you sign up for the monthly plan, you can get a free one month trial. Currently, at least, if you sign up for the annual plan, you not only save $5 per month over the month-by-month plan, but you also get a
free Roku 3 (I checked at Amazon--they start at around $75 there)!
I am a "buy" person, and not a "rent" person, myself. So, I'll keep buying The Great Courses courses (but only when at a very good price, of course.

). But some of you may like the idea of streaming as much as you like for one low price. And these sound like really good deals.
Here's
a link to a webpage telling you more about this new service.
Apparently, this is a limited time offer, as the webpage says that
the offer ends June 15th at Midnight ET.
