I've accepted that. I didn't think anyone was being rude. It's just my first broken device and it just happens to be the most expensive! I have a back up Paperwhite that I hadn't sold yet so I doubt that I get a replacement if I have to pay for it. And I understand that I probably will.

Please know that I'm not trying to be rude either. I think it's the shock.
