Humid, hot and sunny.
Many stranded cars including a few buried to their axles because they decided a field was better than asphalt.
Lesson of the day, do not turn into a field.
Especially do not turn into a field where the water will be rushing at you.
If you do find yourself in a wet field, turn off the car. Spinning the tires only makes the hole you are digging deeper.
Better yet, if you have no reason to go down a flooded street don't go down it.
If you live in an area with community mail boxes and you cannot see the concrete base, turn around, the water only gets deeper.
Note, these mailboxes are usually on higher ground.
