I just lost $20 in ground beef. Our local supermarket had a sale on 5LB packages. I bought two. Sell by date today. It's been in the fridge two days.
Our fridge is super cold. I went to separate the meat and freeze it and it's all grey and gross looking. Not a hint of pink and you can tell it's just bad.
I've never had this happen before. I checked the fridge and everything is as it should be. I guess no hamburgers for us.
