I have most of the series in physical and had been waiting for the ebook versions. And have read the first four ebooks (I think the first was free or heavily discounted (US$1.99), and the next three were available in the Kindle Lending Library). Luckily, the Estate finally came to its senses, and released the ebooks, and at a reasonable price.
The fifth (Beware of the Mouse) is very, very rare in the physical world, Ebay wanted US$300+ for a copy (before the ebook was released). Unfortunately, it looks like the fifth book is not in the Kindle Lending Library.
My belief is that the Estate sourced the first four books from pirated versions, and didn't not further proof them. There was no pirated version of the fifth book, so it's a fresh scan, and the quality is unknown.
