The Best Small Fictions 2016 (second year of this annual anthology) will be released in early September. It is not listed at Amazon yet. I was provided with an advanced readers copy and have posted my review at Goodreads and will post it at Amazon when the listing shows up.
This is a wonderful new annual anthology which focuses on short-short/flash fiction with a few microfictions thrown in (The Toad by Grant Faulkner in this release). It is in the same vein as The Years Best anthologies. Online and print magazines are scoured and nominated and read and final choices are made by a guest editor. This year it is Stuart Dybek whom I've raved about before for his Coast of Chicago and Ecstatic Cahoots collections.
