Kybook and Calibre Content Server

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.
I have just started using the Kybook app on my iPad. I would like to transfer books from my Calibre library, so thought I'd try the Calibre Content Server. I can access my Calibre library through Safari and Chrome, but not through Kybook's inbuilt web browser. If that worked I should be able to put my books automatically into Kybook, but using the "normal" web browser means I have to select the app I want to open the book with, and then it opens the app each time, which I don't want to do.
Would anyone be able to suggest why I can access the library through Chrome and Safari, but not through the inbuilt web browser?
