I also don't read at a constant speed and for that reason I don't use auto-scrolling. My comments were all about manual scrolling. I said that at the beginning but I probably should have mentioned it when I talked about scrolling to make it clearer.

Another thing about auto-scrolling is that it puts me under pressure. i'm obligated to try and keep up and that would take all the fun out of reading.
