Yep, converting Amazon books to read on a Kobo using Calibre should be the least of your concerns. I say that as someone who isn't that picky about formatting (I'm not a huge fan of a large header & footer just because of the waste of space), but I've never really had any issues converting either epubs or mobi/awz. Just grab the Glo HD and try it out.
