I have an Android smartphone. But maybe it's not smart enough. ha The phone has only maybe 4 GB of internal memory. I went ahead and added a 32 GB card and, while it does recognize it, it won't use any of that memory for some reason. I've had to work on other things, so for now I have shelved the project of getting it to work.[/QUOTE]

My record of trying to use emulators and such is dismal. I don't think that I even bothered to check to see if there were any emulators or other programs that would let me run Android apps on Windows. I actually prefer to use my laptop for listening to audiobooks, so that would be a nice thing if could find one that worked, and without too much troubleshooting and/or other effort.

What? Go out of business? A tech company? And leave you stranded? I don't believe it! ha I think that someone earlier pointed out that I could transfer an audiobook from Audiobooks.com as an MP3 from an Android app. That will be nice when I finally get the problem with the phone resolved.

Thanks for the tips. Generally speaking, I need all of the help that I can get in life. ha
