And, BTW, for those worried about the future of the series, Daheim's website indicates:

This is disturbing news. I've been reading Sue Grafton since she came out with her first book in her alphabet series. At one point, I even had a number of Uncorrected Galleys, but I sold those, along with her first 5 books for a nice hefty sum.

I've never read anything by Mary Daheim. Are they any good?
