I got my Max yesterday pm. I am now playing with it and I'm bit dissapointed with the quality of the screen.
It's my first eink device and I have never seen one before, not even a Kindle...

Thing is there is significant ghosting, i am reading a pdf through the onyx app and i can see still fadded the "loading document" icon in the background, like a watermark.

Or if i change menu from "now reading" to "library", i can see still as watermark the previous menu...

There is also a distinct black line like an ecliptic on the top part of the screen...

Are all these normal for an eink device??

I paid 700 euros to have something crystal clear and sadly it doesnt seem to be the case.

Added some pics, where you can see the blotches in the white areas.
