Well... It all depends on your lifestyle.

If like me you tend to stay in, it can be fun.
If you're a city dweller, not.
If you're continually on the move and drive a lot, definitely not.

You have to live with nature, it is something we tend to avoid or try to translate to human scales. Of course we can not, she rules. If one is patient, loves nature and keeps ready, winter is enjoyable.

As a boyscout I used to enjoy winter camping in a tent, it was truly fun. I had no aching bones then!
