I've been pinged . . . .
But it didn't hurt, though.

I was pinged by VisualPing, letting me know that there's a new
free classical music download available at Classical-music.com.
It's Domenico Scarlatti's Sonata in G minor, performed by Angela Hewitt. Here's more info:
This week's free download is Domenico Scarlatti's Sonata in G minor, performed by Angela Hewitt in a recent recording on Hyperion. Scarlatti, born in 1685 - the same year as both Bach and Handel, wrote 550 or so keyboard sonatas during his lifetime. Hewitt responds 'intuitively and alluringly to the multi-faceted characters of these sonatas' writes Nicholas Anderson, BBC Music Magazine March 2016. 'At one moment she is exposing their raw, percussive elements...the next drawing us into an altogether more intimate world with tender inflections.'
By now you probably know the drill necessary to get the
freebie: navigate to
Classical-music.com's free download webpage. If you're not logged in, go do that. Then, return to the webpage whose URL I gave above. You then should see a red "download now" button on top of the thumbnail of the album. Click on it.
I listened to the 4 1/2 minute track all the way through and detected no issues with the audio quality.
