I'm willing to volunteer. I was thinking of choosing a specific genre (science-fiction) and selecting works of literary merit in it. Some would be novels; others might be short works of a high standard.

Would that be OK? I am aware that the other book club did have a sf month recently. So, If not, I'll step aside for someone else--particularly if s/he has not had a chance to choose yet.
