Digital List Price $21.50; Kindle Now $0.99--MasterChef: The Ultimate Cookbook. WOW!!

This book has high ratings, but not very high ratings, the way that I gauge them. It looks like the majority of complaints by reviewers at Amazon and GoodReads involve these two things: 1) the ingredients are often hard to find in most grocery stores, and 2) the recipes tend to be more difficult than the average cook is willing to prepare.

Contestant Christine Ha, the legally blind contestant who won one of the competitions (or maybe the competition--I have never watched the show, so I don't know if there has been one or more than one), and seems to be a crowd favorite, has some recipes in this cookbook. Some reviewers were disappointed that this wasn't "the" Christine Ha cookbook, however. Apparently Ha has a cookbook out that is of only her recipes.

Be those things as they may, the cookbook is marked down 95% from its digital list price. And I think that I can find enough in the cookbook to like, for it to be worth 99 cents. Momma didn't raise no fool. It's a must-buy for me.

MasterChef: The Ultimate Cookbook. By The Contestants and Judges of MasterChef. Rated 4.3 stars, from 96 reviews, at Amazon at the present moment.
