I honestly don't understand the pushback against my claim. I'm not saying anyone else is wrong for being influenced by covers, I'm saying my process of acquiring books to read bypasses images for the most part. What's so hard to believe about that? I'm not immune to visual stimuli, I just don't
SEE bookcovers (especially not before I buy them). Because I don't want to.
