Actually, specialized microwave ovens are used for 2.45GHz medical
diathermy (i.e. "internal heating"). But for corn removal on a foot, I am not sure if they have a "popcorn" setting. I think liquid nitrogen is the prefered corn removal method.
And as far as microwave heating of the head, the primary immediate danger is to the eyes, where the eye lenses can get cataracts from heating them (much like cooking egg-whites).
In fact, the operating principles of microwave ovens were discovered when military personnel used to stand in front of an operating microwave radar dish antenna to warm up, and one of them noticed that
the chocolate bar in his pocket melted. Those radar transmitters were a heck of a lot more powerful than wimpy wifi signals...
However, if you really do have a "burning" desire to microwave your head, they make
diathermy shields specifically for that purpose.
