I would guess one of three things not knowing the book in question.
It was written/formatted so badly as to not be readable.
The "author" decided to just "borrow" everything in the book from other places.
Or they used many trademarks improperly.
I know they took down the "69 fun things to do with JELL-O."
Some companies get and rightfully so, picky about their trademarks.
Now I do own "Joys of Jell-O. " It was put out in 1963 by Jell-O.
I have small cookbooks from pretty much every food manufacturer.
Side note: One Kraft book has some Breyer's ice cream in it.
Yes, Kraft had to get their permission to use their ice cream in the book.
