Sounds interesting. Might be a good nomination for the Free for All category next month, which falls at the right time for a good "summer read".
As for Stryker - I do enjoy Sharpe, but I'm not sure I can handle another Sharpe-like series. And there aren't any audio versions. OTOH, these are free for KU, so I might just give them a try.
I'm currently reading
The Language of Power, the fourth book in the Steerswoman series from Rosemary Kirstein. This is a re-read, triggered by the Book Club selection this month which got me started re-reading the series.
