Thanks for the feedback. I am thinking now of buying Onyx Max or Sony, and such feedbacks help me choose. I assume that pens are not the strong side of Onyxes, however, here you basically compare the pen of M92 with Sony, and not of the Max. But even assuming that Max has pens similar to those of M92, were there any other features in M92, as compared to Sony, that you did not like? Build quality, case?

The Onyx Max looks like a cheap copy of the Sony DPT-S1 but I have no interest in the Onyx after my previous experience with their m92
I wonder if you had personal experience with the Onyx Max. I saw their videos, and also the videos with Sony. Sony seems to differentiate the pressure of the pen, has the capacitative screen (which is a huge plus), however, in terms of other options, navigation, browsing and bluetooth (thus no keyboard possible, no mouse, no work with it as with the ereading tablet) it is behind the Max. I heard that Max's display uses the same screen quality as Sony, so the text is quite sharp (for all its 150 dpi), and the build seems to be ok (as seen at the video).

In graphic heavy PDFs the Sony and annotating could be faster.
I doubt that, since Max has 1GB of operative memory. Sony could be faster if it is capable of using its memory better. But we need to hear from those who had Sony and have bought Max.
