For some reason Visual Ping did not ping me this time to let me know of a new Alexander Street classical music freebie of the week. I thought to check their website earlier today, and found out about their new freebie. It's probably been up a day or two; but no worries, that still leaves you several days to see this post and go to their website to download the parts that you want.

This week the freebie is Symphony No. 1 in C Minor by Johannes Brahms. "This recording is performed by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Alain Lombard."

Here's the webpage where you can access the download. You do not have to login--just click on the blue download button and you'll be taken to another webpage that will let you what to do next.

You may remember that Alexander Street kindly provides both the MP3 and WMA formats of their free downloads of the week. I listened to all of the movements (4 of them) in both of the formats. I detected no issues. Well, other than the fact that they are by Brahm. ha.
