You might want to check the Adobe ID authorized on both the ereader and computer to make sure you used the same ID. I made this mistake when moving to a new computer. The Adobe ID I was using was based on an email address that hadn't existed for years and I simply forgot and used my new ID.

If they are the same, you might want to uninstall ADE 4.5, install ADE 2.0.1 ( Adobe Digital Editions ) and try again. My local library and I had some issues when I tried using ADE 4.0 so I reverted back to 2.0.1 which I am still using under Windows 10 x64.
