Thanks, yes you're right.There are som e threads about. Just being a bit lazy this time and a bit tired of feeling a bit locked in, even though the Kobo seems to be the most open and IMHO very nice reader. Just been a bit of a change going from phone/tablet OS.

IF it's not possible to get the high lights, annotations written to the book itself, I kind of liked the idea of getting it written to the sideloaded metatextfile. just want it to be simple enough to do.

I generally just highlight new words/phrases and surrounding contexts when I read Spanish books. And I would like to save them in an easy way. Sometimes I also highlight interesting phrases in other books as well. So basically I so far seem to more use the highlight feature more
