This is the way I use the Oasis, too. When I want to read, I pop the Oasis out of the cover. It will have a 90-94% charge. I usually only read for an hour or two, three tops, before taking some sort of break. At that point the Oasis battery will have dropped to maybe 80-85%. Then I pop it back into the cover, even if it's just for 10 minutes. I'm not really paying close attention, but so far the Oasis/cover battery combo is no worse than my Voyage and possibly better.
