Oh, I also just listened to the abridged version of Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" available from my library through Hoopla (as is Armor). It was entertaining and motivating.
I read Armor a while back (with my eyeballs). The prose is quite poor, which probably comes through more strongly (though hopefully omitting outright typos) on audio. Military SF is generally not my cup of tea, but I did find the book worthwhile as a quick pulp read with some meatier themes behind it. It's not something I would try on audio--for me, sci-fi generally takes a little too much concentration to follow on audio alone, though switching between text and audio works for some books.
