I tried using the procedure you referred me to for installing the new firmware but the links to the programs used were dead...
Has anyone had success installing this firmware ?
I also tried putting the kobo in USB upgrade mode by holding menu button on reboot, but the zip file won't fit into the 200mb koboupgrade folder.
Also tried putting zip in SD card and holding down the middle of directional pad to boot from SD card ..that still didn't work.. I am almost ready to give up
But my wife really misses her kobo..so anyone that can help ..I would really appreciate it.
