I not only know who William Shatner is, I've read his
Tek War. To be polite, it's not very good and if his name is your only draw towards the second tier, it's very much not worth the current $10.78 to obtain it.
The novel was actually co-written by Ron Goulart, even though his name isn't on the cover.
